成績証明書 (Transcripts)

提出する書類の中で必須になるのが成績証明書である。成績証明書は卒業した学部や大学院から必要になるだけではなく、交換留学で外国の大学へ行っていた場合も同様。出願願書の学歴欄に記載したものすべて必要。

英文の成績証明書を自分の参考のために1部発行してもらい、もし成績証明に授与された学位が記載されていない場合は、卒業証明書（学位授与証）が必要となる。欧米では単位と学位は別物なので、成績証明書だけでは不十分である。

日本の大学院受験にはない書式にTranscript Request Form(TRF)がある。これは大学に成績証明書の発行を依頼する際に使用するもので特定のMPA/MPP/MIAに用意されている。読めば処理方法は判るが、用紙の上半分を出願者が記入署名し、下半分を出身大学が必要事項を埋めて押印し、1通の封筒の中にこのTRF用紙と成績証明書（+卒業証明書）をセットにして入れ、封筒の裏に封緘(across sign)して提出するものである。

これらの成績証明書や卒業証明書（学位授与証）をスクールに送る方法は以下の2通りである。

締切日 (Application Deadline Dates)

MPA/MPP/MIAの無料説明会で配布する受験出願日程表に記載のように10月上旬から受付が始まり、

と12月から1月末に締切日のピークがくる。受験校数は平均で7～8校であるから、年内に数校、年明け数校と分けて出願する受験者が多い。

キャンパス･ビジット(Campus Visit)

Information Sessions
Small group information sessions and tours are conducted by current students during the academic year.　From February 4 through April 7, information sessions will be held on Mondays at 12:30 pm. There will also be additional information sessions held on Thursday, April 10 and Thursday April 24 at 4:30.  Please join us for our social hour after the session.　Please contact the Office of Admissions, (FletcherAdmissions@tufts.edu) in advance to register for one of these events and confirm the schedule.

Class Visits
We invite you to sit in on classes during your visit to Fletcher. You may wish to review the current course schedule in advance. Advance registration is not required—we simply ask that you come to the class a few minutes before it begins to introduce yourself to the professor. Please drop by the Admissions Office on the day of your visit to confirm the schedule.

Social Hours/Information Sessions
The Office of Admissions invites you to join our Thursday social hour for current and prospective Fletcher students at 5:30. Enjoy refreshments and conversation as you speak with current students about their academic and personal experiences at Fletcher.

Walk-in Hours
The Office of Admissions has walk-in hours for prospective applicants between 10:00 am - 4:00 pm on weekdays. Admissions officers are available to answer your questions during this time, and appointments are not needed. The office is located in Suite 110 in the Belfer Building, which is on the corner of JFK and Eliot Streets.

Tours
Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) offers a campus tour led by a current student.  Tours leave from the Office of Admissions and last approximately one hour.  Tours are offered Monday through Friday from 1:00 - 2:00 pm.

Visiting Classes
Prospective applicants who are interested in attending a class must contact the professor by phone or email before the day of the visit. Please note that very few classes meet on Fridays. The best time to visit is from mid-September through November and mid-February through April.

現時点でインタビューが必要なMPA/MPA/MIAは無い。

Tufts, Fletcher
The interview is highly recommended, but is not a required component of the admissions process. Personal evaluative interviews are an excellent way for applicants to share information and to learn how The Fletcher School will help them meet their academic and professional goals.

Syracuse, Maxwell
We do not require an interview for admission, however, students often find a visit to the school to be a very useful tool in their decision to apply and/or attend the Maxwell School. We encourage visits and are happy to work with students to arrange visits to campus. In the spring we will hold several formal visiting days for admitted students who are considering study at the Maxwell School.

UC, Berkeley, Goldman
Admission decisions are based on an evaluation of the statement of purpose, essay, three letters of recommendation, academic record and test scores, history of employment and experience. Excellence in any one area does not ensure admission. The admissions review process is based upon a comparison of qualifications among all those who apply, including but not limited to academic performance, in order to assemble a class diverse in student background, experience, and interests. Interviews are not part of the review process.

University of Southern California, SPPD
Since the admission review process does not include an interview, submitted materials should present student qualifications clearly and completely.
