- Harvard, Kennedy, MPP
- 学歴：学士号（経済学・統計学・微積分の知識が望ましい）
- 職歴：不要。ただし、2-3年のフルタイムの専門職経験が望ましい
- Harvard, Kennedy, MPA2
- 学歴：学士号+修士号（もしくは修士レベルのMPPと類似の履修経験）
- 職歴：3年間のフルタイムの専門職経験（この要件は譲ってくれない）
ColumbiaのSIPAの場合、http://sipa.columbia.edu/resources_services/admissions/apply.html に明記されているが、
- MIA/MPA
- 学歴：学卒（マクロとミクロの経済学の知識が望ましい）
- 職歴：明示されていないが2-3年のフルタイムの専門職経験が望ましい
上記2校のように学士レベルの経済や統計や数学を勉強していることが望ましいというPre-requisitesが緩やかなスクールもあるが、

SyracuseのMaxwellはThe Department of Public Administration does not require the completion of specific courses in economics nor statistics prior to application. However, due to the rigorous analytic component of our program, it is assumed that applicants will have a strong quantitative background. Applicants lacking a solid background in mathematics, economics and statistics are encouraged to remedy this deficiency prior to application. Past students have found courses in intermediate microeconomics and introductory statistics quite helpful in preparing them for graduate level study in the MPA program. と明記している。
出願校選択の時にカウンセラーに相談のこと。なお、大学の英文成績証明書を持っていれば持参のこと。
試 験
受験科目は、原則として、GRE®TestとTOEFL®Test。GRE®TestはGeneral TestだけでSubject Testを要求するスクールはない。スクールによってはGRE®Testの代わりにGMATを受け付けるが少数である。
教材で使用するMPAマニュアルに受験資格、大学での履修要件、受験科目、Statementの内容、成績証明書、推薦状などを網羅したリストが収集されているので参照のこと。
Syracuse, Maxwell
While there are no cut-offs academically, we like to see minimum GPA’s at or above a 3.0 (4.0 scale), minimum GRE®Test test scores at the median (mid 500’s on both levels and 4.5 on the analytic), and a minimum TOEFL®Test of 600 written exam/250 CBT/100 IBT (revised 1/07). Applicants with TOEFL®Test scores between 580/237/92-93 and 600/250/100 may be considered for admission, however they will be required to complete an English Language Assessment Exam upon matriculation and may be possibly recommended into English Language courses to be taken concurrently with their studies. We will accept the GMAT in lieu of the GRE®Test, however the applicant must note this on their application. We will NOT accept the LSAT in lieu of the GRE®Test from applicants outside of Syracuse University.
Harvard, Kennedy
GRE®Test/GMAT: All applicants, except for those applying to the Mason Program, are required to take the GRE®Test or GMAT examination (even if you already have an advanced deGRE®Teste). Scores must be officially reported to the Kennedy School admissions office by the application deadline (deadline link). Please allow 2-4 weeks for us to receive your official test scores, and make sure to allow yourself enough time to register for an exam date.
TOEFL®Test: The TOEFL®Test (Test of English as Foreign Language) is required of all applicants (both two-year and mid-career programs) whose native language is not English or whose undergraduate deGRE®Teste program was not conducted in English. The admissions committees require admissible applicants to have TOEFL®Test scores of:
100 or higher on the Internet-based test (IBT);
250 or higher on the Computer-based test (CBT); or
600 or higher on the Paper-based test (PBT).
UC, Berkekely, Goldman
All applicants are required to take the Graduate Record Exam (GRE®Test) general test. The LSAT and GMAT cannot be substituted for the GRE®Test. Test scores must be less than five years old. All applicants from countries in which the official language is not English are required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL®Test) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
Carnegie, Heinz
All applicants are required to submit standardized test scores for either the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Records Exam (GRE®Test), (with the exception of the following programs: Master of Public Management (MPM), Master of Medical Management (MMM), Human Resources Management Certificate (HRMC), Educational Leadership Certificate (ELC) and Educational Technology Management Certificate (ETMC). If taking the GRE®Test, only the general test is required.
