成績証明書 (Transcripts)

提出する書類の中で必須になるのが成績証明書である。成績証明書は卒業した学部や大学院から必要になるだけではなく、交換留学で外国の大学へ行っていた場合も同様。出願願書の学歴欄に記載したものすべて必要。

英文の成績証明書を自分の参考のために1部発行してもらい、もし成績証明に授与された学位が記載されていない場合は、卒業証明書（学位授与証）が必要となる。欧米では単位と学位は別物なので、成績証明書だけでは不十分である。

日本の大学院受験にはない書式にTranscript Request Form(TRF)がある。これは大学に成績証明書の発行を依頼する際に使用するもので特定のスクールに用意されている。読めば処理方法は判るが、用紙の上半分を出願者が記入署名し、下半分を出身大学が必要事項を埋めて押印し、1通の封筒の中にこのTRF用紙と成績証明書（+卒業証明書）をセットにして入れ、封筒の裏に封緘(across sign)して提出するものである。

これらの成績証明書や卒業証明書（学位授与証）をスクールに送る方法は以下の2通りである。

締切日 (Application Deadline Dates)

10月上旬から受付が始まり、ColumbiaとMITが2月15日、NYUが3月15日と2月から3月に締切日のピークがくる。注意すべきは2月の15日とか3月15日までに出願願書が一式届けば間に合うのかとい点である。勿論、間に合うが審査は締切日を待たずに始まっているRolling Admissionなので、最終日に出願するということは、審査されるグループの一番最後ということになる。

受験校数は平均で7～8校であるから、年内に数校、年明け数校と分けて出願する受験者が多い。

A visit to the MIT Center for Real Estate provides you with another opportunity to learn more about the programs, students, faculty and staff. It's a GRE®Testat way to get a real feel for what it's like at MIT. We encourage you to take full advantage of your visit by sitting in on a class or two and meeting current students, faculty and staff.

A typical visit consists of:

• Check-in with Admissions staff in Building W31-310
  (120 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, 3rd Floor). Have your questions answered.

• Visit a class with your student host. (Check the class schedule so your visit includes a course you want to attend).

• Depending on the schedule, you may have an opportunity to have lunch with your host. (Lunch will be provided.)

Please schedule your visit at least one week in advance for proper arrangemnets.

Interviews are not part of the admissions process. However, the Center schedules an open house (http://web.mit.edu/cre/events/highlighted/open.html)each Fall on campus to give prospective applicants an opportunity to discuss the program with faculty, students, and alumni. The Center also encourages prospective applicants to visit the Center (http://web.mit.edu/cre/students/admissions/visit.html)and sit in on a class. Alumni of the program provide another source of information and assistance during the admissions process. Contact the Center for information about alumni who work in your area.
