技術経営学・経営工学
Management of Technology
MS in Engineering Management

The program of Master of Science in Management Science and Engineering (MS&E) prepares
individuals for a life-long career addressing critical technical and managerial needs in private and
public decision making. Department requirements for the M.S. deGRE®Teste provide breadth across some of
the areas of the department, and flexibility for meeting individual objectives of depth in a particular
area of concentration. The Master’s deGRE®Teste may be a terminal deGRE®Teste program with a professional
focus, or a preparation for a more advanced graduate program. The M.S. deGRE®Teste can normally be
earned in one academic year (three academic quarters) of full-time work, although students may
choose to continue their education by taking additional MS&E courses beyond that year. Students
completing 15 or more units per quarter can easily complete the deGRE®Teste in three quarters. Students
completing 8-10 units per quarter can complete the deGRE®Teste in five quarters. Background requirements,
taken in addition to deGRE®Teste requirements, must be met by students who have had insufficient course
work in mathematical sciences, computer science, engineering and/or natural sciences.

University of California, Berkeley
Management of Technology Program (MOT)

アウトライン

The Management of Technology (MOT) Program, established in 1989, is sponsored by the College of Engineering (COE) and the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. MOT is the most popular interdisciplinary program at UC Berkeley, with classes and fellowship programs made up of Masters and PhD students. An associated MOT Certificate Program allows graduate students to specialize in the Management of Technology as they obtain their deGRE®Testes.

The MOT Program seeks to address a number of technology management challenges. We define Management of Technology as the set of activities associated with bringing high technology products to the marketplace. There is no such thing as a low-tech industry anymore. If you are planning a career in any industry, you need a good grounding in how technology management differs from traditional methods. MOT focuses on the operational and organizational issues associated with managing new product development and commercialization.

UC Berkeley's Management of Technology Program is the largest of its type at any university in the world. Each year there are nearly 1,500 graduate student enrollees in MOT classes.

所属するスクールは以下のとおり。授与される学位はそれぞれのスクールによる。

You have to be a UC Berkeley graduate student to participate in the MOT Program. Once you are admitted to an MS, MBA, or PhD program at UC Berkeley you are eligible to fully participate in the Management of Technology (MOT) Program, without further admissions requirements. Below is a list of UC Berkeley graduate programs which commonly have students participate in the MOT Program. This list is not complete. The MOT Program is open to all UC Berkeley graduate students.
